Graphic Equaliser
OpenMPT's graphic equaliser allows you to adjust the levels of various frequencies of the finally outputted audio. You can use the equaliser to boost certain frequencies and lower others. As the equaliser settings aren't saved with your piece, it's suggested that you use it sparingly, if at all. Note that the equaliser is applied to the final mix of the song, including all of the plugins and effects.
Bands
Each of the sliders on the screen corresponds to a band of frequencies. By moving the sliders up or down, you can boost or lower the volume of that particular band. A value of 0 (in the middle) is the default for all the bands. If you right click on the sliders, you can select a new frequency. This allows more precise control of the final sound.Presets
There a are a number of presets available in the equaliser. To select one, click on one of the buttons towards the bottom of the screen. You can also save your own presets. In order to create your own presets, move the levels of the desired bands until you they fit your requirements. Click on "Save Preset..." and fill up the information in "Save As:" The first box is the name that will appear on the button, while User1 to User4 are the buttons you can select to save your settings.
